CODE SEA is a specialty shop on Okinawa’s remote Miyako Island offering guided introductory scuba diving and snorkeling tours.

Our tours are guided by instructors certified by the globally recognized diving organization NAUI. If you are visiting Miyako Island, don’t miss the chance to join us.

Miyako Island, a remote island of Okinawa, is famous for its clear blue waters called “Miyako Blue” and its white sandy beaches. Join our introductory scuba diving or snorkeling tours from these beautiful beaches.
We will guide you to spots where you are likely to see sea turtles, colorful coral reefs, and a variety of tropical fish.
Tours Last 2.5 Hours, 5 Sessions per Day
Tours last 2.5 hours and are held five times per day, making it easy to fit into a busy travel schedule.

Sea Turtle & Coral Introductory Diving or Snorkeling Tours (Beach Entry / 2.5 Hours) Details
Both introductory diving and snorkeling tours are held at the same location and time.
So even if your group has mixed preferences, some can dive while others snorkel.
Try scuba diving! Introductory diving is open to anyone aged 10–70, even without a diving license. We use full-face masks that allow breathing through both nose and mouth, making it easier than regular introductory diving.
Float on the water and peek into Miyako Island’s clear ocean. Suitable for ages 8–70, this is the easiest and most relaxed course. We guide you to areas where sea turtles are likely and to beautiful coral spots. Locations may change depending on sea conditions.

Boat entry tours can be scary because they start from deep water. Our tours are beach entry, so you start in shallow water where you can stand, giving you peace of mind.

Quick 2.5-Hour Tours Fit for Busy Schedules
If you want to join a tour but half a day is too long or your travel schedule is tight, this 2.5-hour course is ideal for a fun, compact experience.
Free Rental Equipment Included ☆
Snorkeling tours include fins, mask, snorkel, and life jacket. Introductory diving tours include full diving gear rental and wetsuit. You can join empty-handed wearing a swimsuit, rash guard, or clothes that can get wet (T-shirt, shorts, etc.).
Optional Paid Rentals for Snorkeling
For sun protection, we recommend rash guards (500 yen) during April–October, and wetsuits (1,000 yen) for cold protection from November–March.

Sunrise Course (Early Morning) is a special course only available April–October
Recommended for early risers. Make the most of your travel schedule!
The early morning beach around sunrise is almost deserted and feels private. If you’re lucky, you can enjoy the tour while watching the sunrise, creating memories you can’t experience on regular tours.
*Tour duration is 2 hours instead of 2.5 hours.
Sunset Course (Evening)
Special course only available Feb–October
Make the most of your travel schedule! Recommended for those who want to be active and enjoy as much as possible, or for those arriving in Miyako Island in the afternoon and want to join a tour. Tours start in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set.

8:15 Equipment handout & briefing
Fit equipment, check health, fill out registration forms, and explain equipment use and tour flow. Start slowly from shallow water! Beginners can gradually get used to it. Floatation devices are available for those who feel uneasy.
Enjoy Miyako Island’s sea, including turtles, coral, and tropical fish! Any questions or concerns? Ask your instructor freely!
8:30–9:00 Entry! Enjoy introductory diving or snorkeling while instructors take photos!
Instructors capture various moments, including you with coral, turtles, and during activities. Requests for photos are welcome!
10:00 Tour ends!
Thank you for participating! After snorkeling, refreshments are available while reviewing your photos.
10:15 Shower & Change
Shower and changing facilities are available at some points.
If unavailable, warm water is provided to rinse off salt.
*Tour points may change based on sea conditions.
*Depending on the season, warm water or cold water will be provided.
10:30 Dismissal on-site
Tour concludes and participants are dismissed on-site.
*End time may vary depending on the tour location.
